Solo Small Business Gateway was designed primarily for small companies of up to 50 users. For the telephony part though, we have devised special extensions for supporting larger capacities.The most important parameter when using Solo SBG as an IP-PBX is the available land-line connectivity. In the design of Solo Gateway, we have not included support for T1/E1/J1 connectivity. Today, we made a new add-on module available for this exact purpose. Now, T1/E1/J1 cards (like Digium, Openvox , Atcom) can be supported and operate flawlessly with Solo SBG. This new module is not yet available in the current release, but it will become available in the next release.
Besides E1/T1/J1 support, we are also offering support for high-compression codecs for VoIP lines. This way, we can overcome bandwidth limitations and triple the number of concurrent calls through VoIP lines, reaching up to 40 calls in a 1Mbit-upload DSL connection!
With these two optional enhancements, we can satisfy even the highest telecommunications capacity requirements of businesses adopting Solo Small Business Gateway!
